The Expo is an opportunity for teens to gather and participate in a wide range of media workshops – at both the beginner and intermediate levels. These workshops can serve to deepen students’ skills and expose them to the wonderful world of youth media production in New York City.
The Expo will feature workshops run by Downtown Community Television (DCTV), Educational Video Center (EVC), Global Action Project (GAP), the Ghetto Film School, MNN, The Paley Center (formerly The Museum of Television & Radio), Reel Works and T.R.U.C.E. The workshops will range from Media Literacy to Production. There will also be live performances and college information.
The Expo is free and open to all high school students in New York City and beyond.
