We have come a long way.
Looking back at this year, we could not be prouder of our youth producers. They’ve won fellowships and festival awards here in NY and out in California. They’ve continued to produce hard-hitting documentaries and made their voices heard on the most pressing issues in their lives including: gun violence, youth depression, homophobia, prescription drug abuse, and street harassment of girls.
We’re working with teachers in every borough of the city to integrate EVC’s model of student media projects into their classes. We’ve launched a new web and PhotoShop design apprenticeship program and we’re creating an archive to make our 3 decades of youth produced media publicly accessible.
We couldn’t do this work without you. Therefore, we ask you to show your support and consider a generous gift in this season of giving.
