Dating violence is a hidden crime that affects an estimated 30% of U.S. teenagers each year. Through interviews with lawyers, social workers, young victims and batterers, youth producers reveal common misconceptions about dating violence and highlight strategies for ending abusive relationships. This documentary was produced in partnership with the Brooklyn Youth Offenders Domestic Violence Court, an experimental court that addresses the problem of underreported battering.
A film produced by high school students who participated in EVC’s Youth Documentary Workshop, 2005.
